From SeafoodMedia on November 7, experts of the Pacific branch of the All-Russian Fisheries Research Institute (VNIRO) met with representatives of the Peruvian fish industry association COPMAR to discuss cooperation between the two countries in the field of mariculture.
The Russian scientists presented the latest achievements of the Institute in the creation of processing marine biotechnology. In contrast, the Peruvian fishery’s representatives presented the association’s main activities and possible cooperation between the two sides in the field of mariculture breeding and production.
The parties decided to cooperate and develop a draft framework on issues that would potentially interest both sides in fisheries.
